The shed is good and strong, but shortly after it was built I realized that I missed a couple of vents that were not installed. Called customer service a couple of times, never got responses. Yes, if he preps it properly, as he said. ie pseursre clean, penetrating oil based primer and two coats of a good quality paint, it will most definately last upwards of 15 years. The only thing with paint is, no matter how good the paint is, it's the pigment that fades. So if you go with a bold color, you are looking at it fading before any kind of paint failure. Anything containing yellows and reds will likely fade faster than others. GL
